As a Melodist, Tear is primarily a magic user. Her spells take time to cast, and while casting
a patterned ring of white-blue light surrounds the ground upon which she stands. Since Tear is a Seventh Fonist, she sings
while casting her spells. All of the spells she casts are ranged and don't require her to be near the enemy.
Although Tear is trained for direct physical combat, she lacks many essential skills in that
area, including the ability to jump in battle. As Legretta often notes when they meet in combat, Tear is too slow. However, she
is able to attack with her stave in face-to-face combat, and outside of player-controlled battles,
she uses her daggers, mainly to distract the enemy. Expectedly, she doesn't do as much
damage as she does using her spells. The only reason Tear would resort to direct combat is if her TP were so low she couldn't
cast a spell. Each hit acquires her +1 TP.
